Rooms & Facilities

Tiny Tots (6 Weeks - 2 Years)

A bright and welcoming room that has been newly decorated, in which children aged 6 weeks to 2 years are cared for.

This stimulating environment is filled with a variety of sensory learning opportunities. The children have access continually to a variety of age appropriate toys, textures, materials and constructions, so they can choose for themselves what they want to play with. Music is a big part of our day, listening and singing and we also like to get messy inside and outside- painting, sand, water and jelly play- you name it we do it!

An adjoining sleep room enables all children to quiet time and sleep throughout the day when needed to.

Children are cared for by experienced and qualified practitioners who provide an individual care routine, which is tailored to your child's specific needs. Each child's routine is incorporated into the room's structure, to ensure your child has a varied and fulfilling day.

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum where all children are learning through play. Children are given the opportunity to explore, but they are also provided with a variety of activities each day to support their individual development.

Each child is assigned a Key Person to build a positive, secure relationship to support every child's personal development. Their Key Person will make observations of their children's experiences and key moments in their own unique learning diary, which they can look back on in years to come.

They will also liaise with you at the end of each day, keeping you informed of your child's experiences at nursery and will make sure you don't miss out on any aspect of your child's day.

Busy Bees (2-3's)

We have recently extended our 2-3's room and had it completely renovated to continue the neutral colour scheme of the baby room through the whole nursery.

We have had all new wooden furniture and designed the room so that there are sections that are solely focused on activities relating to the Early Years Foundation Stage whilst still maintaining an open space so the children can easily move between different areas of interest.

There is a construction area where they can use their imagination to create unique worlds, a cosy corner that allows them to have some quiet time so they can become aware of their own personal space and have access to books, a home corner where they are encouraged to role play and an arts area to allow them to express their creativity.

The room also has direct access to the garden so we can maximise free flow and extend their learning into the outdoor environment. Children are always given the opportunity to explore, but are also supported by qualified and experienced practitioners who provide the children with a variety of activities each day to support their individual development.

Pre-School (3-5's)

Preschool have a spacious newly refurbished welcoming room.

Zoned into areas of learning children are able to free flow between the indoor and outdoor environment, creating endless opportunities for good quality learning to take place.

This room benefits from an adjoining 'cosy area' where the children can take time away from the hustle and bustle of the room, explore their independance and enjoy their personal space.

During their time in Preschool the children are supported to develop their independence and skills ready for the transition to School.
