Rooms & Facilities

Butterflies (0-2's)

The Butterflies room caters for children from 6 weeks to 2 years.

Our aim is to provide a home from home environment with friendly, happy staff to encourage the children to feel welcome and secure within the room.

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum using the Characteristics of Effective Learning to support the individual children’s learning and development. By providing a range of activities we are able to promote all areas of learning.

We implement a variety of messy activities which help the children with their confidence and self-esteem. During the day we have a free-flow system where the children have the opportunity to explore the garden area or play in our physical area allowing them to be independent and make their own choices.

Busy Bees (2-3's)

Busy Bees is our 2-3's room, we have 3 main areas to the room; home corner, creative area, book corner, Understanding of the World area, construction area and willow den.

Children are given the opportunity to explore, but are also supported by qualified and experienced practitioners.

We always have a focus to the room that links to our Understanding of the World area and a book.
